Notes / Directions
- Cook basmati rice according to this recipe, but do not add the butter!
- Basmati rice can be dehydrated exactly like jasmine rice.
- To avoid bacterial growth, place cooked rice immediately into dehydrator when it's done cooking.
- Basmati is long grained and fairly delicate, do not handle it roughly or it'll fall apart.
- For best rehydration results, cook rice to a more al dente texture.
